Many of you will have heard of Strait Logics within the personalised document industry, be it Employee Communications, Personalised Direct Marketing or Transactional Bills. And many of you will know why employers produce Total Reward Statements – aids recruitment and retention, enhances motivation and provides a clearer understanding of one’s pay and remuneration. Yet ask yourself why people use us and what part Strait Logics plays within the industry and some of you may find it hard to explain.

Strait Logics is a service orientated composition tool. Quite simply, we create printable documents from raw data, be it Pension Statements, Total Reward Statements, Financial Invoices or Telephone Bills.

In-house research has shown that our customers utilise Strait Logics' services for three main reasons; they have no in-house capability, speed and quality of service and it’s simply not their core business skills.

The process of how we work combines three fundamental elements that are input in order to produce a personalised total reward statement. The document design and artwork, the conditional programming specification and the raw data all allow us to develop a bespoke software application that will produce personalised statements containing illustrative charts and images as well as text. Along with software development, testing, production and distribution, Strait Logics also offer a full archive of every statement produced via Reflection, our in-house archive solution.

Due to advances in technologies, and with the demand in securing personal data, Strait Logics have designed and developed its very own web-based application, Strait Online.

Strait Online gives an online solution to help manage employees’ personalised benefits more effectively and in essence more efficiently by adopting latest Microsoft technologies.

The on-line system gives your employees instant access to the most up-to-date information on their reward and benefits packages, 24/7 whether from home or work via a secure medium using a username and password log in system. Some of its features include: "Model My Benefits" allowing employees to choose benefits to best fit their lifestyles, "Dynamic Graphical Representation" to view fully variable pie charts and graphs, "Historical" view allowing yearly statement comparisons. "Real-time" dynamic updates to employee data, "Local Printing" etc.

It is believed that web based solutions will become the preferred option, and could soon be the ‘norm’. Strait Online is a user-friendly interface that provides a dynamic communication path to employees helping them to have a greater understanding and appreciation of their customised benefits and compensation packages.
