The Launch of PIP
The 21st August 2006 saw the launch of Royal Mail’s new PIP (Pricing in Proportion) with postage charged not only according to weight but size as well. It is believed that most costs will stay the same or even decrease, however for the larger items the cost is certain to increase. There are now three categories in place: Letter, Large Letter and Package. Unfortunately, as most of the statements our customers produce will fall into the Package size category the overall cost of implementing a HR communication project will be affected - something to bear in mind when planning future statement productions.
