The essence of Strait Logics' services revolves around client
data, the files we deal with can be of various formats and sizes,
the data contained can be via human input or system generated.
There can be several hotspots for when the data can become corrupt,
inaccurate or invalid.
We at Strait Logics recognise the signs
of 'bad' data and have built a Data Validation application using
our wealth of experience in good data practice to highlight
problems before they become a pitfall.
The clever validation program checks
against test data specific to each individual project, covering
areas such as:
Presence and Type - e.g. an O is mistakenly typed
instead of a zero
Column Identification - highlighting columns that
have been renamed or removed or that are duplicated
Duplicated Records - if there is not a need for
this, as detailed in the project specification, it is
highlighted
These errors can happen from user error
or when data sets are merged from multiple sources, using our
specialist data validation process we are able to enhance our
service to our clients and help to ensure we use clean and correct
data during project development and at delivery.
