Taking away the headache for our customers is always at the top
of our customer service list and those of you who have had to use
the third party software to gain access to our FTP server will know
it wasn't the easiest of processes, with it requiring installation
and configuration of the Client software.
In answer to this, we have successfully
introduced a new Web portal meaning all you now need is a web
browser which will access the FTP server via HTTPS, the same
protocol used in internet banking and online purchasing.
The new connection via the web is even
more secure than the previous method and allows data transfer to
and from our clients and suppliers without the need for
installation or special configuration of any third party
software.
A minor change with a major impact on
accessibility, efficiency and security!
